Wood protection surveys

Drawing up of certified wood treatment surveys results as a rule in the run-up of planned renovations or in suspicion on a damage through wood destroying moulds or insects. These can be for example dry rot, house ram, gnaw bug etc. It has to be determined type, size, causes and if necessary vitality of the damages and written down in a survey report.

This serves to the establishment of the required structural and chemical renovation measures.

Drilling resistance testing
Measuring drill resistance in terms of the resistance of wood to a needle that is impelled into it. This gives accurate detection of cracks, insect burrowing, dry rot or any other loss in strength that might prove dangerous.
